The deed is done!

The papers have been signed, the money has been handed over, and DP and I are now homeowners! We started moving in today, but the internet at our house won't be on until Monday. Last night was the last lazy dinner night post I had prepared, and I don't have access to my links on my parent's computer, so I can't make more. There will still be Flash Game Friday, and a vid link post on Saturday to tide you over, and hopefully sometime next week I can resume normal transmission. I'd like to be super optimistic and tell you that will happen on Monday, but I'm too much of a realist for that.

But I've got some great things to blog about coming up, so rest assured as soon as some semblance of normality returns to the Dragon household, I'll be back with you all.

Kseniya Simonova - Sand Animation

Ukraine lost 1 in 4 people during WW 2 - more than any other country. Simonova's sand story talks about the German invasion in 1941. First there is a couple sitting on a bench under the stars. Warplanes appear and people are crying. After the baby arrives the woman smiles again, but the young woman becomes an old widow. Finally there is an obelisk the Ukrainian monument to its Unknown Soldier

The translation for the writing at the end is 'You are always near me (by my side)'
This was from Ukraine's got Talent. (She won BTW)

What should be Menu Plan Monday

This is an automated post, to let you all know what is going on. We have had to move out of our house so the owner can move back in, and will be living in limbo for three weeks while we wait for our new place to be available. I've scheduled some lazy dinner night posts for the meantime, and just in case it takes a while to get the internet at the new house. Please stick with me during this difficult time. I'll be able to get internet access at my parents house but obviously not every day, so there may or may not be new KCT posts during this time.

So if it's menu plans you are after, check out I'm an Organizing Junkie for literally hundreds of other menu plan blog posts, and why not go back through the archives of Kids Cooking Thursday in the meantime?

Menu Plan Monday

Monday Lasagna
Tuesday Chicken Tenders with corn and chips
Wednesday Freezer Suprise
Thursday Dim Sims
Friday Irish Stout Burgers
Saturday Takeaway (moving)
Sunday Sandwiches

So, a lot of easy/lazy meals. But you were expecting that, since I am desperately packing to be out by the end of the week. But as we still have to eat, and everyone likes have a few 'lazy meal' ideas up their sleeve, I thought I'd still post this. It's not doing great in the nutritional value stakes, but 3 three weeks eating my mother's cooking should even things out.

As usual, check out I'm an Organizing Junkie for literally hundreds of other menu plan blog posts, and please come back here for Kids Cooking Thursday.
